To provide editing and sharing features, MarkMao may read the following content on your device:

Document content:

Markdown documents you create, import, or edit are used for local editing, previewing, and exporting.

Images and files:

When you actively choose images or files, the app reads the selected items for canvas layout, preview, or export.

Shared content:

When you use system sharing, exported images or documents are handled by the iOS share sheet and the destination app you choose.

2. Data Collection

MarkMao does not create user accounts and does not collect names, email addresses, contacts, precise location, or other personally identifiable information.

3. Local Storage

Documents, drafts, style settings, and exports may be stored on your device or in file locations you choose. You can delete content in the app or uninstall the app to remove local app data.

4. Network and Third-Party Services

MarkMao's core editing, previewing, and exporting features can run on device. Unless you actively send content through the system share sheet, external links, or other system features, MarkMao does not upload your documents or images to developer servers.

5. In-App Purchases

If the app offers paid features, purchases are processed by Apple StoreKit. MarkMao receives only whether your purchase entitlement is valid and does not receive payment information.

6. Children's Privacy

MarkMao is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Policy Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the Last Updated date on this page and, when appropriate, explain the change in the app.
