SimpleSortSlim Privacy Policy
Updated June 11, 2026
SimpleSortSlim respects your privacy. This page explains how the app handles your photo library, album cleanup, and deletion workflow.
In short: SimpleSortSlim does not require an account and does not operate developer servers for receiving your photos or videos. Filtering, previewing, reviewing, and deletion confirmation happen on your Mac within Apple Photos permissions.
1. Data We Process
Apple Photos library content you authorize, album and folder information, filter settings, review state, built-in trash records, and temporary data needed for previewing, organizing, and deletion.
2. Local Processing
Photo filtering, previewing, keyboard review, album cleanup, and built-in trash handling are performed locally by default. SimpleSortSlim does not upload your photos or videos to developer servers.
3. Photos Permission
SimpleSortSlim needs access to Apple Photos to read media, show previews, organize albums, and perform delete or trash actions only after your explicit confirmation. You can manage Photos permission in macOS System Settings.
4. Deletion and Recovery
The app provides a built-in trash workflow and works with the system trash to reduce accidental deletion risk. Please confirm items before permanently emptying the system trash.
5. Third-Party Sharing
SimpleSortSlim does not sell personal information and does not share your photos or videos with advertising networks, except where Apple services are required for the App Store, system permissions, diagnostics, or Photos framework operation.
