1. Information We Use

To provide kitchen assistant features, StepChef may use the following information:

Recipe and cooking content:

Recipes, steps, ingredients, notes, and family recipe records you create, save, edit, or generate.

AI request content:

When you use AI recipe features, dish names, ingredients, preferences, restrictions, and prompts you enter are used to generate recipes.

Voice control:

When you use voice commands to confirm a task or move forward, speech recognition may be handled by iOS system speech capabilities. StepChef uses the recognized command to perform the requested action.

2. Data Collection and Accounts

StepChef does not create a developer account system and does not actively collect names, email addresses, contacts, precise location, or payment information.

3. Local Storage

Family recipes, cooked dishes, settings, and cooking records may be stored on your device, in local app data, in iCloud backups, or in Apple system sync services you enable. You can delete content in the app or uninstall the app to remove local data.

4. Network and Third-Party Services

AI recipe generation requires a network connection. To return generated results, StepChef may send recipe requests you actively enter to an AI service configured by the developer. Do not include sensitive personal information in recipe prompts. In-app purchases are processed by Apple StoreKit.

5. Subscription Terms

StepChef offers auto-renewable subscriptions: StepChef Membership Monthly (product ID: stepchef.pro.membership.monthly) and StepChef Membership Yearly (product ID: stepchef.pro.membership.yearly). Subscriptions are processed by Apple and charged to your Apple ID account. Unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, the subscription renews automatically. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in the App Store or Apple ID settings. StepChef does not receive card or payment credential information. The current subscriptions do not support Family Sharing.

6. Content Responsibility

AI-generated content may be incomplete or unsuitable for your specific diet, allergies, health needs, or kitchen conditions. Please review ingredients, heat, timing, and food safety requirements before cooking.

7. Children's Privacy

StepChef is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
