Privacy Policy

Pixel Panic processes resizing, optimization, format conversion, metadata changes, cover rendering, and output validation on your Mac. The developer does not receive your original images, local edits, file names, file paths, or security-scoped folder bookmarks.

AI editing is optional and uses a supported third-party service that you configure. When you submit an edit, the reference image and prompt go directly from your Mac to that provider and are governed by its terms and privacy policy. The developer does not proxy these requests and does not receive your API keys. Credentials are stored in the macOS Keychain; non-secret model, endpoint, language, appearance, and editor preferences are stored locally. AI editing is not available in the China mainland storefront.

A local diagnostic log may record the app version, event name, error domain, error code, and error type. It is designed not to record API keys, secrets, prompts, image contents, file names, or file paths. If you choose Send Feedback, your email is prefilled with device model, system version, region, time zone, time, your issue description, and reproduction steps, and may include that log as an attachment. You can edit the message or remove the attachment before sending. Delivery is handled by your mail provider.

Pixel Panic has no account system, advertising, third-party analytics, or tracking. Store rating prompts are handled by Apple StoreKit. You can delete AI credentials in Settings, revoke folder access by removing saved app data, and remove other local data by uninstalling the app. Questions may be sent to wallyvay@gmail.com.
